Summit uses the ON24 Platform for live webinars and live streams. Through this platform, attendance is tracked for all Live Interactive CE Webinars/Live streams. Certain browser settings, extensions, and security features can interfere with ON24’s ability to record attendance data. The tips below can help reduce the chance of tracking issues, though they cannot guarantee that attendance will be captured in every situation.
Before the Webinar
ON24 runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to download. For the best experience:
- Use a laptop or desktop computer. You can watch on a mobile device or a mobile/cellular connection, but we don’t recommend it. Mobile devices and connections are more likely to have interruptions that affect attendance tracking.
- Stay in one location for the entire webinar instead of moving between places or networks.
- Use a strong, stable internet connection. A wired or reliable Wi-Fi connection works best.
- Keep your device plugged in or make sure you can charge it during the session, so it doesn’t go into battery saver mode or shut down.
- Use the latest version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.
- Run the ON24 system test ahead of time to confirm your device and connection are ready: event.on24.com/view/help/sysreq.html
- If possible, join from a personal computer or network. Work computers and networks often have stricter security settings.

Additional Tips
- Keep the webinar tab open for the entire session, and avoid minimizing the browser or letting your computer go to sleep.
- Avoid joining from multiple devices or browser tabs at the same time.
- If audio or video stops, refresh the page rather than closing the tab and rejoining from a new link.
- If you are on a work computer, your IT department may control some of these settings. Contact them if you are unable to change them.
