Will Summit Report to the PA DOS PALS system (PA Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training completions)?

Yes! When you select “Take Test” to complete the applicable training, you will be asked to provide your:

  • First name exactly it appears on your PALS account
  • Last name exactly it appears on your PALS account
  • Date of Birth in the following format MM/DD/YYYY
  • Last 4 digits of your Social Security number*

For participants with a Social Security number: completions will be reported to the PA Department of State PALS system within 10 business days of post-test completion with a passing score of 75% or higher. After 10 business days please check your PALS account to confirm reporting status. If your completion of the course has not appeared after 10 business days, please contact ceinfo@summit-education.com to verify the accuracy of the information provided. 

* For participants without a Social Security number: A completed PA Waiver of Social Security Number Verification Statement form (see below) will be required for you to submit before your completion will be reported.

Email the completed SSN Waiver form to: ceinfo@summit-education.com

Once the form has been received by Summit and the post-test has been passed with a score of 75% or higher, the completion will be reported to the PA Dept of State within 10 business days. If your completion of the course has not appeared in your PALS account after 10 business days (from the date you submitted the form and completed the post-test), please contact ceinfo@summit-education.com to verify the accuracy of the information provided.
